Transport support
If you are looking for help with transport or trying to rescue a dog from a shelter, please reach out. Paws on Road can share information about the dog on multiple platforms, such as social media pages, community groups, and local bulletin boards. This helps increase the chances of finding someone willing to adopt or assist. Paws on Road also has connections with people involved in rescue work who might be able to step in. If Paws on Road hears about a dog needing rescue, we will do my best to contact these contacts and spread the word quickly. In addition, if any of the animal advocates are on the road or traveling, Paws on Road may be able to help with transport. Paws on Road has experience organizing rides for animals in need and may be able to coordinate a route.

If you are dealing with the pain and grief of losing a beloved pet, it can be very hard to cope with these feelings. Pets are more than animals; they are family members who bring joy, comfort, and companionship into our lives. When a pet passes away, many people feel overwhelmed by sadness and sometimes confusion. If you find yourself struggling with these emotions, support is available. The Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement offers help for those grieving their pets. They provide resources, counseling, and support groups to help you through your loss. Their goal is to help you heal and find comfort after saying goodbye to your pet. You can reach out to them through their website at https://www.aplb.org/. They understand the deep bond you may have had with your pet and can offer empathetic guidance to help you process your grief.
